Invisalign
Invisalign is a company that produces clear aligners for orthodontic treatment. These aligners are transparent and plastic dental braces used to adjust and straighten/align teeth. Invisalign is not usually recommended for children but for mild and moderate crowding in adults. The process begins with us scanning an electronic mold of the patient’s teeth using a digital scanner called an ‘iTero.’ The model will suggest stages between the current and desired teeth positions. Each aligner is worn around 20-22 hours per day over the course of two weeks. The average treatment time is a little over a year. The aligners are FDA-approved and contain no BPA, BPS, latex, or gluten. These thin, and clear aligners fit firmly over your teeth to make them appear virtually invisible.
